Physiotherapy / Acupuncture

Physiotherapy offers the combination of active exercise rehabilitation, manual therapy and/or acupuncture to help you recover from sports & spinal injuries or overcome the aches & pain of computer life. Sessions at the Therapy Room are always 1 on 1 with the therapist and generous in time.

FEES & BOOKING  

  • Initial Visit [45 min]: $100.00

  • Return Visit [45 min]: $90.00

Reimbursement: All sessions with your Physiotherapist are eligible for reimbursement through your HSA (health spending account) or extended paramedical package. A receipt will be provided by your Physiotherapist after the session for reimbursement by your insurer.

Intake Form: Please print, fill out and bring your > Physiotherapy Intake Form < to your first visit.

The Therapy Room is located on the lower level of 910 Mainland between the fitness centre and the employee lounge.  All sessions begin here and may continue in the fitness centre.
 

OUR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Juliet Marshall

Juliet arrived in Vancouver over 8 years ago from Perth, Western Australia after completing her Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University. From early on in her career, Juliet has seen how helping people understand their bodies and their injuries can help fast track their recovery, allowing them to engage in the activities that make them happy, pain free. If not travelling, in her spare time you can find Juliet on her bike, at kickboxing classes and sipping on good coffee.

Juliet’s experience is focused on musculoskeletal injuries including knee, shoulder, back and neck pain with a special interest in concussion. Having started out on the sports field working with some great athletes, she moved into private practice treating a wide range of patients and injuries. She believes in treating the whole-body, using one-on-one treatment, exercise, mindfulness and acupuncture as powerful adjuncts to her hands-on approach to injuries.

Training for a half marathon? The Gran Fondo? Or feel like you need some extra help in the gym? Most people are not making the most out of their workouts, Juliet can help you create an exercise program to suit your body, your goals and ensure you're safe and your movements are perfect so you see results fast.

Having trouble with pain at your workstation? Considering the amount of time you spend at your desk, it's important it's well set-up. She can visit your work station after a short physio assessment and make adjustments and recommendations to help your posture and decrease your pains and strains.

​She has embraced the local lifestyle, leading her to create Workplace Wellness - her own corporate physiotherapy business after she found it difficult to find the time in the day to do the things that kept her mind and body healthy. By collaborating with Preventacare Health Services Inc, Juliet will be providing physiotherapy treatments to the staff at SAP every Thursday afternoon.
